Proud Angeleno

CSU Channel Islands. Spring 2014

Proud Angeleno grew out of inspiration from a piece of street art and an appreciation for being from Los Angeles. Using the newspaper as the only graphics source, this is a collage of different images and colors selected from Los Angeles newspapers to create a new representation of the California flag.

Combined with this poster are smaller individual signs that pay tribute to different cities in Los Angeles County by blending the typed name of the city and landmark images of that city together into one abstract image.
